The Fair

We went to the Washington County Fair and saw a freestyle motorcross show, the demolition derby, farm animals, and much more. Guy got to milk a goat. I asked him if it was fun afterwards and he said, "I squeezed hard!"
I had to keep an eye on this pony. It tried to eat my baby.
Guy isn't a fan of adult chickens since he was bit by one last year, but this baby chick was cute and nice.
Tractors are the main reason Guy goes to the fair. $1 and only 2 times down the slide goes fast.
Guy would rather be the driver of the train.

Hull Family Reunion

My mom's side of the family holds a family reunion every summer. This year we congregated on Grandpa's farm in Hooper, Utah. Grandpa sang silly songs to us around the camp fire. He is 93!
Sloan's Great Aunt Linda kept her warm on Saturday morning when it was only 62 degrees. Cold for us!
Uncle Dennis taught Guy and his cousin Cody how to play horseshoes.

We posed for pictures before Uncle Richard took us on a hay ride Friday night.
Grandma with the grandkids.
Shannon, Guy, and Sloan
Guy and his cousins formed a biking gang.
I rode these old metal trikes at Grandpa's when I was a kid!
The kids were glad to be home and out of the van. Sloan went straight for a mountain of toys. Guy tried on the new bike shirt and cool DC shoes Jack got him in Vegas. Jack had go to an APA conference in Toronto while we were at the reunion, but he brought home presents for all of us. Sloan got a new shirt that she will grow into and I got earrings. What a good husband!

Mustache

This is a conversation I had with Guy while getting him dressed for the day.

Guy: Mom, you have a mustache.
Shannon: I do! What kind?
Guy: A white one.

Guy tried on some of his Aunt Charlotte's mascara while I was putting on mine. He actually did a good job of getting it on his lashes.
Sloan is 8 months old on the 15th. Time flies!

Summer Time

Goodbye Jane: Guy's bestfriend Jane moved to Colorado. They spent their last day together at the pool. We will all miss Jane and her family.

Pioneer Day: The 24th of July is a Utah holiday and we celebrated by going to the Washington City parade and then to the park for carnival games. Guy participated in a foot race with other 2 year olds. Then he ate an entire hotdog with a bun and a huge slice of watermelon.

Time for some new shoes. These ones are his favorite. They work as brakes for his bike.
Sloan sits up well and is starting to army crawl. She likes anything Guy is playing with and viceversa. I looked over to see what was making Sloan laugh just now and I saw Guy dragging her around the livingroom by one leg.

Video footage of Sloan crawling is not uploading. I will try again later, but here is a picture.
