We entered Guy in his first big mountain bike race. He was racing in the 9 and under category, so he was up against kids 3x his age. He rode 2 laps = 2 miles. I ran along side to give support.
He came in last, but that was expected. He had the smallest bike and was the youngest racer. He was excited to get a ribbon and a bag of treats.
Jack improved his time by 5 minutes from last year's race!
Guy is scheduled to have ear surgery March 16. They will remove the tubes that are sitting on his ear drums and new ones will be put in. We hope this will correct his hearing loss. Sloan is starting to have similar problems with ear infections. She may be next to have tubes put in. Sloan has four teeth on top and two on the bottom and she has decided to skip right to a molar next. Ouch!
Ow my heck I love them! They look so stinken cute on the winning stage, and in the bed. I miss them already. As for Jack, WOW 5 minutes is a lot to be faster, good job Jacki-pooh! That is awesome looks like fun, hope it warms up here soon so we can go play outside too!
