Halloween lasted a whole week for us. On Monday we went to the Tonaquint Nature Center. Guy was Nacho Libre (a luchador or Mexican wrestler). Sloan was a fairy. I made their costumes except for Guy's mask which I bought and cut down to fit him better.
Guy entered his pumpkin into a contest and won!
On Wednesday we went to Creative Minds to play with our friends Mary, Joshua, and Lucy. Sloan liked the shopping carts.Guy liked being a pirate. This will probably be the theme of his birthday party in a few weeks.
He said he wanted to build a house for Lucy in this picture.
My kids wouldn't look, but Lucy is. Guy was a great mechanic.
On Thursday evening, we rode bikes to the elementary school and played snake with the jump rope we found. Notice the dog near Jack's leg has on a jacket, but our kids don't.
Friday we went to the Hurricane Library's Halloween party.
The kids love to read and Guy is only allowed to pick out spider books if he promises not to be scared at bedtime.Friday afternoon was Guy's Halloween party at his friend Daxton's house. He had a marvelous time.
Saturday evening was the Trunk or Treat at the church. I added a little makeup to Sloan's face this time.
The adults seemed to like Guy's costume. We heard a few quotes from the movie like: Sometimes you have to wear stretchy pants. Nachoooooo.
I love Halloween and Sloan thought it was the greatest night ever. I think she would rather have candy than toys. She looks pretty tired here. I don't have a black eye. It's a "Boo!" tattoo that is not very noticeable.

I love the pumpkin, what a great idea with the corn. They're costumes are so awesome! I love nachooooo! You look so pretty and your hair is getting long.
