Preschool Graduation

Guy attended Smaller Scholars Preschool at the Washington City Community Center this year. In addition to a regular preschool curriculum, he participated in gymnastics, karate, rock climbing, cooking classes, and so much more. Below are a few highlights.

On Physical Fitness Night, Guy climbed to the top of the rock climbing wall and rang the bell for the first time.

There was a Fathers & Friends Fishing Day but Jack was in New Orleans speaking at a conference, so our good friend Bob Almy took Guy. They had no luck at the pond where the preschool met, so afterwards they moved to a pond closer to our house and caught a few little ones.

Guy and I dressed up for the Mother's Day Tea Party.

The kids answered questions about their mothers. Guy said I hated weeds (true) and that we like to eat shrimp together at Golden Coral (a buffet style restaurant).

The preschool also had a float in the Washington City Cotton Days parade that Guy got to be on.

Guy enjoyed preschool. Miss Mary (Mathews) was a wonderful teacher. He wants to continue to take gymnastic lessons. I cried a little during his graduation ceremony. My little boy is growing up.
