25-Hour Race

Jack and 5 friends entered a 25-hour bike race near Virgin, Utah. The race started on Saturday, October 31 at 10 am and teams were on their last lap the following day at 10 am. The time change made it a 25 hour race instead of 24 hours. Jack was the first to ride from his team and so he had to run from the start line to his bike. He is in the middle of the picture with a yellow jersey on.

Here is a picture of him finishing a lap. They scheduled laps so that Jack had a big break around 6 pm so he could go trick-or-treating with us.

We were there for nearly 4 hours on Saturday and the kids got filthy. Luckily the red dirt came out of their clothes except for their white socks. Sloan worked on Jack's bike while Guy made rock towers all around camp.

Guy is following in his father's tread marks.
Here is most of the team. Joel is the rider in the middle. He is the fastest on the team and he is 67 years old. He is awesome! Guy really wanted numbers for his bike. Finish line!
Quentin was the 6th rider, but he wasn't there at the end of the race so his wife filled in for the picture. From left to right: Jack, Monte, Bonnie, Quentin's wife DJ, Joel, and Bob. Go team!
